Oililin takes used cooking oil and recycles it into beautiful, safe, environment friendly scented candles that last up to 30 hours.
They produce up to 2,000 candles a month and one production run uses between 50 and 60 litres of recycled cooking oil. All five restaurants it works with are Halal-certified and provide 15 to 20 litres of the substance every two weeks.
Oililin also bring the recycling experience to you, through their DIY candle making kits.
Did you know?
To remove the smell of the used cooking oil, Oililin adds 20g of scent powder to every 100ml of oil.
