Leather Use Policy

At Earth Heir, we uphold a firm commitment to sustainability and ethical craftsmanship in every aspect of our production. This includes a conscious and responsible approach to leather use.  

We collaborate with skilled handmade artisans and leather crafters who share our values of sustainability and community empowerment. Our leather products are created using waste leather offcuts—surplus materials that would otherwise be discarded. By repurposing these offcuts, we extend the lifecycle of existing materials, reduce waste, and contribute to a more circular and regenerative economy.  

 Furthermore, all leather used in our products is sourced locally within Malaysia. This not only supports local livelihoods and craftspeople but also significantly reduces the environmental impact associated with imported materials and long-distance transportation.  

This policy reflects our dedication to minimising harm to the environment while supporting traditional craftsmanship. We believe in creating timeless, meaningful products that honour both people and the planet—ensuring that every piece tells a story of purpose, care, and sustainability. 

 Currently, products with leather comprise about 3-4% of our overall revenue.
